参考 The Bromeliaceae Of Brazil 1955 By Lyman Bradford Smith An ex-libris (Withdrawn from Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden.) copy as issued in wrappers with rough cut pages. The binding is solid and the pages are clean, but suffer from staining near the base of the spine, perhaps due to water. The severity of the staining is quite evident in the images. Nevertheless, the volume, appears to have never been read. Known as "the father of bromeliad studies" for his many contributions to the systematics and natural history of the family Bromeliaceae, Lyman Bradford Smith published this, scarce and long out of print, seminal work on Brazilian bromeliads in the Smithsonian Miscellaneous Collections Volume 126 Number 1, in 1955.
