CONDITION:

OUTSIDE: NEAR MINT- (NM-) The hardcover of this book has some wear, but fairly little overall. It is wear where the fabric is beginning to show through the dark red coating.
INSIDE: SEE DESCRIPTION This book has been rehabed and rebound to some extent. As seen in photo, binding has been done by the New Orleans Chapter of the Bromeliad Society (likely meant 'rebinding'). Also photographed is the slightly undersized table of contents, which starts the list at page 105 or 107, which the pages match up to (unsure why this is, but it does match nonetheless). There are some stray marks in crayon and pen in this area. The rest of the pages are mostly free of such marks, except for very few done in pencil and very few in crayon (mostly editorial marks or additions to the text). Page 109/110 and 115/116 have been rehabed - two sections of one page once seperated or torn have been put back together in a professional manner. Pages 312 & 313 are significantly more yellowed than the rest, but are just as strong (and the reverse sides of each page are not yellowed, oddly enough). The first half (more or less) contains text, and the latter half contains B&W and color drawings and B&W photographs, all on pages with a blank page facing to protect the integrity of the artwork printed. The last 3 pages have maps printed on them and for whatever reason are bound upside-down from the rest of the book. Further inquiries are welcome, but this is as thorough a description as we can create based on very little translation and our own insight.
OTHER INFORMATION:

PUBLISHER: INSTITUTI MICHAELIS LILLO UNIVERSITATIS NATIONALIS TUCUMANENSIS (?)
YEAR: 1945 ("in lucem prodiere die 23 m. setempbris 1945" is exactly what's printed) There are also some added marks indicating the year 1946.
